Go Produce are currently looking to recruit a Production Manager.
This role is predominantly suited to Operations or Production and Pack House Managers as it will be within a Food Manufacturing and packing facility , reporting into the Operations Director and GM at the site,previous fresh produce experience would be an advantage.
You will manage and have the accountability for the Pack House function within the business, ensuring all KPI measures performance are reviewed daily, weekly, to be achieved by maximising machinery outputs through delivery of SOP?s and standard line management principles, whilst maintaining a culture of team work and continuous improvement , ensuring all Food Safety, H&S, legal, Company and customer requirements/standards are met.
? Weekly, monthly review of Packhouse Performance with Senior Teams
? Provide clear leadership to the Packhouse team ensuring roles and responsibilities are allocated, understood and meet the needs of the business
o Direction and support to all Packhouse colleagues
? Weekly Operation communication briefing
o Deliver any Company updates, Packhouse related matters, giving them an opportunity to feedback with any ideas or concerns
o Fortnightly agency review on KPI?s as agreed in SLA
? Ensure all colleagues are aware of their Health & Safety responsibilities, ensuring everyone has received the appropriate training necessary to do carry out their role
o Ensure Health & Safety issues are dealt with promptly, safely and in line with Health & Safety and Company procedures
o Performance target attainment and Improvement target set by managing the following
o Daily, weekly KPI review (OEE, CPC, Speed)
o Changeovers and illegal downtime management
o Standard operating procedures, Continuous improvement workshops
? Monitor the effectiveness of the shifts by KPI management, Good housekeeping and Audit performance
o Improvement targets are set within clear timescales for completion
o Clean as you go practices and principles are in place and understood by all
? Manage and motivate the team according to Company policies and employment law, ensuring relevant HR procedures are followed (appraisals, discipline, grievance etc.)
